Floretta is seeking talented, casual freelance florists for the busy Summer / Autumn events period.
Successful applicants will be experienced event & wedding florists with a strong portfolio and have 3+ years experience. As well as excellent floristry skills the people we are looking for will have an outstanding eye for design. Florists working with Floretta will be given loads of opportunities to work on different and interesting arrangements including installations.
To be considered for the roles you must be:
— An experienced wedding & event florist with 3+ years experience
— Experience with creating volume guest table centrepieces & feature arrangements, not just bridal party flowers.
— Passionate about not just flowers but designing with flowers
— Design focused & collaborative
— Friendly & punctual
— Have strong attention to detail
— Have an ABN, a car & licence
About us: Floretta is a small creative wedding & events floral design studio situated in a large scale comfortably appointed warehouse studio in Campbellfield. We have a focus on high quality work, using interesting materials in abundance & a focus on great design. We pride ourselves on creating a fun, highly creative, relaxed and supportive work environment.

Work experience
Floretta is passionate about supporting the floristry industry by providing work experience opportunities for budding floristry students. We take the time to provide lots of one on one training with our senior floristry team, which assists students to build skills & confidence in a supportive no pressure environment.
Participants will gain experience in the following areas:
— Event & wedding floristry
— Flower conditioning
— Wiring techniques
— Broaden & build design skills
— Assisting senior florists to create large scale arrangements
including instillations
— Learn about large scale event logistics
— Assisting onsite at venues with large scale event setups
